Okay! I don't like complaining when I do a journal entry. When I do one, it either has a dumb amv or trailer or something funny I found on youtube, or maybe some news that I actually want to post, but this time is different. I'm ranting.

I'm fed up. STOP DIGGING SO DEEP INTO TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN! Is it so hard to just watch the movie without having to try and take it a part? Like said, it was all stupid fun. FUN PEOPLE! Yes, there were plot holes, a few, maybe a lot, but do they really need to be looked at so closely? How about some of the things back in the old G1 show? Or in some of the newer or latest shows? How come no one is jumping on their F*ing case for the plot holes they may have if they're carrying over from a previous season or show? Yea, they're just cartoons and then there's the live action movies, but they basically have the same themes.

Now a lot of the critics that I have read about seem to be the source of everyone's hate on this movie. People tend to read what these critics say and take to heart that the movie is a waste of time and money. Say for instance, Robert Ebert. This old fart doesn't even need to be watching it. It's far past his time. I know a few people who read what critics have to say about movies, and nearly didn't want to see the movie because of old farts like Robert. After I told them differently, they saw the movie, and enjoyed it. One said it was better then the first.

In one latest rant by critic Matt McDaniel, he complains about the plot holes in the movie. Some I could understand, AND LET GO! One of the best, and funniest scenes in the movie involved Alice, the Decepticon Pretender. Matt complains about how a Decepticon can look like a human. Did anyone question how the T-1000 from T2 or the T-X from T3 could look human? NO! He even asks how a robo-girl can straddle Sam without crushing him. Did he pay any attention to Alice when she revealed her true form? She looked nothing more then wires and thin pieces of steele. She probably weighed no more then Frenzy, perhaps a little more given her size. Let's not forget that she's also made of an unknown alien metal which it's weight is never looked upon. I wonder why. Maybe because no one cares! She was a Decepticon, that' all that matters.

Skids and Mudflap. For the love of God people, get over yourselves. So what if they are stereotypes? Was Jazz not? What about Blaster from the old series? It's a new age people. It's time to grow up. Hell, Reno Wilson, the voice of Mudflap was African-American, and just did the voice up himself in that manner, and Bay said go with it.

I'm done. Take my advice, see the movie. It was fun, entertaining, and I didn't hear one person complain in the theater. Even more strange was that I didn't even hear a baby cry, and there was one seated directly in front of me and one behind me. These days there are very few movies that get any cheeres or applause while in the theater, and Transformers 2: ROTF was one of them that had a standing ovation. I laughed, I was surprised, excited. If not see the movie, read the book. It fills in some things that could have been in the movie, that MAY be in the IMAX version, which is said to have a few minutes, maybe more, of footage that wasn't in the standard release. Hell, read the book first and then see the movie. Maybe you'll have a better understand of what's happening.
